The newly integrated sportsbook from Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) in Latvia has attracted three major sportsbooks: William Hill, Mr. Green, and Fenibet.
This is the first time the brands on GiG's platform have gone live on the new GiG Sports offering after GiG's purchase of Sportnco in April 2022.
There are currently more than 36 markets available at the GiG Sportnco sportsbook.
Since 2019, when it acquired Mr. Green as part of a larger agreement that also includes Latvian startup 11.lv, William Hill has been active in the country. 11.lv was launched in 2012 and is now one of three operators in the country.
GiG's chief commercial officer, Marcel Elfersy, remarked, "This is a very welcome milestone for us on our strategic roadmap as we begin to harvest the enormous potential of our combined sportsbook and platform offering."
Supplying our unique technology to tier 1 providers of their quality is a terrific example of the value we can bring to the industry, and William Hill is one of the most well-known names connected with sports betting on a global scale.
William Hill's MD Janis Tregers: "We are happy to provide this new Sportsbetting service to our consumers in Latvia. To further cement our place as market leaders, our teams have collaborated closely with GiG to develop a cutting-edge, competitive offering.
In its most recent quarterly report, GiG revealed record-breaking sales of €28.4m ($31.4m), up 49% year over year.
