Last year, the British company's online net gaming revenue was £2.7 billion ($3.7 billion), a 28% growth, with EBITDA climbing 11% to £843 million.
Its online and retail businesses presented distinct stories; online sport wagers increased by 5%, totaling £11.8 billion. However, as a result of the pandemic, retail wagers fell from £4.8 billion last year to £2.8 billion this year.
The firm also disclosed gender pay numbers, demonstrating that it provides greater female balance than competitors. In the UK, the corporation has a median gender pay gap of 7.1%, whereas the national average is 15%.
Entain rebranded itself in December 2020, rebranding the company and renewing its corporate identity and strategy. The firm has exploited its rebranding from last year to continue its corporate rebirth by expanding and giving more to its clients.
"Under our new corporate identity, we will continue to use our unique technology platform to build on the exceptionally strong momentum that we have in our existing markets," stated JM Barry Gibson, non-executive chairman.
Entain plans to broaden its appeal in existing areas while also producing items for customers in emerging regions. The business forecasts that it will be worth $20 billion in the US betting and igaming sector by 2025.
